I joined theSixtyOne after seeing Ryan tweet about it. My husband is a wedding DJ and theSixtyOne is my relief from the sappy love songs all the brides seem to like. Although I love all kinds of music, my personal collection is bogged down in the 80s and 90s. This is such a great way to hear new stuff.

My name is Charles, and I run several non-profit music podcasts in my spare time from the North Hollywood area in CA. I can't remember where I heard about thesixtyone from, as it was back in January, although I rediscovered it again recently and have slowly told a few local artists about it.

I won't tweet too too much about who I'm playing or adding to a favorite list although occasionally I will mention it in a posting, most likely if something substantial is going on with the site. More references to the sixtyone.com are done over on our website..

I'm still a T61 newbie. Resisted signing up for the T61 addiction for quite a while but I kept seeing all the tweets about it from the "cool kids" on Twitter! I finally succumbed 4 days ago. There's such a wide variety of new music to choose from!
