What song have you found on thesixtyone that you just can't stop playing? It doesn't have to be a new song, or a "hot" song... just one that's new to you, and good enough to keep you coming back for more.

Last night "The Rack" sent me "Change" by "Swimming In," a group (or, really, a duo) in Houston. It was only three hours old. I loved it. I bumped it. It's snared about 120 bumps since, and netted me 70 points!

I fell so in love with this that I'm probably going to purchase the signed CD mentioned on her website.

Immediately favorited all her songs on T61.

edit: Wow. I was so excited by it and by her other songs that I forgot to bump this. Rectifying now. :)

Thanks to huliwuxian, I added and bumped all of Rocknova's tracks. I'm in the process of contacting this Brazilian rock band to see if I can add their CD to the world music library!

Dawn Chorus - I'm Cured!

The song quality level isn't too good here, but they do have a free high quality track at their site. Played it on a recent show.

Here's a little piano pop ballad that has me hooked ...

Great find. I'm a sucker for dramatic, building intros with piano.

Long before I joined The Sixty-One, Apple's iTunes store gave away Ana Laan's track "Paradise" for free. I loved the song from the day I heard it and to date for this year, it is one of my most played songs on iTunes and my iPods. I was surprised and happy to find it here. This song should have been (or be) as big a pop hit as anything by Colbie Caillat.

In case you haven't heard it, here's "Paradise" by Ana Laan which is worth the 5 points the song is being currently bumped for.

I've been liking this song: Jubala's Aftermath

A bit of indie-ish female pop flavor du jour

I love this song so much I left a comment yesterday and felt the need to comment again today. It's apparently a Ukranian folk song sung to the tune of the Cranberries' "Zombie." It's got a definite Flogging Molly vibe, but it's as if it's being sung by a tavern full of drunken, bearded men. Brilliant!

I heard this song about 2 weeks ago on The 61, got the free download (which to me is more valuable than lousy points), and added it to my iTunes country music mix playlist. Now in regular rotation when I listen to my country mix.

Hey, this is country music. Love it or hate it, it's here.

And now for something completely different, taste-wise for me anyway. A little dance to pick your day up
